Core-level spectra of metallic lanthanides: Dysprosium (Dy)
نویسندگان
چکیده
The core-level spectra for the lanthanide metal, dysprosium, are presented. exhibit significant multiplet splitting, which must be included accurate quantification of metallic state. Within paper, modified relative sensitivity factors presented some regions, together with recommended backgrounds integration limits and types.

Reflection Spectra of Lanthanides in Thorium
Retaining the cubic structure, ThO, can accomodate large concentrations of lanthanides and the equivalent amount of oxygen vacancies. The reflection spectra are measured at 100 °K of Nd(III), Sm (III), Eu (III), Ho(lil), Er (III), Tm(III) and Yb(III) in such samples. The excited /-levels correspond to rather broad bands in Thi-a-Mj-Oi-o.öx whereas Nd203 and Er203 have very detailed line groups....

متن کاملTwo-dimensional dysprosium(III) triiodate(V) dihydrate, Dy(IO3)3(H2O)·H2O
During our research into novel nonlinear optical materials using 1,10-phenanthroline as an appending ligand on lanthanide iodates, crystals of an infinite layered Dy(III) iodate compound, Dy(IO(3))(3)(H(2)O)·H(2)O, were obtained under hydro-thermal conditions. The Dy(III) cation has a dicapped trigonal prismatic coordination environment consisting of one water O atom and seven other O atoms fro...
متن کاملBa2LnSbO6 and Sr2LnSbO6 (Ln = Dy, Ho, Gd) double perovskites: lanthanides in the geometrically frustrating fcc lattice.
Magnetic ground states in solids often arise as a result of a delicate balance between competing factors. One currently active area of research in magnetic materials involves compounds in which long-range magnetic ordering at low temperatures is frustrated by the geometry of the crystalline lattice, a situation known as geometrical magnetic frustration. The number of systems known to display th...
